Join us on a full-day guided tour of Capri island and discover the favored resort of the Roman Emperors.
Set sail to the captivating isle of Capri, the isle of sirens according to Greek mythology. Here the Roman Emperor Tiberius lived in the Villa Jovis for the last ten years of his life, using the famed Blue Grotto as his private swimming pool. In the mid-19th century the island became a magnet for artists, intellectuals, and writers, drawn by the inspirational scenery, gentle climate and dreamy, liberal lifestyle. Nowadays, Capri is a sun-soaked playground for the rich and famous with moguls and politicians in between. Many keep their own private palaces or sail in on their yachts.
According to where your accommodation is located, your journey starts at 8am with the ferry from the harbour of Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, or Naples. In less than two hours, you’ll disembark, meet your local guide. Here your guide will assist you to visit the Blue Grotto* at an additional cost.
Once you go back to the harbour, you will ascend to Capri town by funicular for a guided walking tour. Explore the narrow alleys of Capri and visit the beautiful Augustus Garden, where you have breathtaking views of Capri and the Faraglioni rocks. On the way, learn about the history of the production of the famous Carthusia Perfumes made in Capri and smell the different essences.

From the Piazzetta, we board a local bus and reach the highest point of the island, Monte Solaro, to visit the gorgeous Villa San Michele, built on the ruins of Tiberius’ villa; take in panoramic views of Capri and its marina, the Sorrentine and Amalfi Coast Peninsulas, and Mount Vesuvius.
Return to the Piazzetta for free time to shop or enjoy an aperitif at a cafe, before going back down to the harbour to board the ferry back to your starting point.
